According to “How to Find a Job on LinkedIn Facebook Twitter MySpace and other Social Networks” the 10 best jobs to get through social networking sites are:

  1. public relations manager
  2. social media strategist
  3. musician (via myspace)
  4. blogger
  5. copywriter
  6. consultant/freelancer
  7. information technology worker
  8. comedian (myspace again)
  9. web designer
  10. marketing manager

Even though the copyright in the book reads that it was published in 2010, the list feels older to me. Maybe it’s the inclusion of MySpace.

Still, I should take heart from the fact that PR manager made #1.I’ll hope that is still right.
